Six questions Indonesian buyers settle
before ordering SPC and vinyl flooring.
Do we need an import approval and a surveyor report?
It depends on the 8-digit code and the import arrangement. Permendag 22/2025 covers downstream plastic goods (produk hilir plastik) listed in its annex. Your PPJK checks the code for your build in INSW. Where PI and LS requirements apply to the confirmed code and import arrangement, the importer must complete the required approval and surveyor process before shipment. Tell us early so the loading date allows for it.
What do duty, PPN and PPh 22 add at the port?
Duty follows the BTKI code; the ACFTA or RCEP rate needs a valid certificate of origin, Form E for ACFTA. Import PPN is 12 % on a base of 11/12 for non-luxury goods, an effective 11 %. PPh 22 is generally 2.5 % with an API and 7.5 % without, with higher rates for some codes. These taxes use the applicable import tax base, not the FOB invoice amount alone. Your tax adviser confirms the calculation and whether the amounts are creditable.
Does vinyl flooring need SNI?
SNI is voluntary unless a ministerial regulation makes it mandatory for a product (PP 34/2018, Article 20). Ask your broker or certification body whether a mandatory SNI covers your code. If a buyer or project asks for SNI conformity anyway, the certification body sets the testing and factory steps, and the application needs an Indonesian importer or partner. Tell us before quoting if a buyer needs SNI; we share our test reports with their scope so you can judge what they cover.
Can imported flooring go into government-funded projects?
Government procurement prioritises domestic products under the applicable TKDN and procurement rules. Imported flooring may be considered only where the applicable conditions permit it. Ask the procurement team to confirm product eligibility and the tender’s domestic-content requirements before requesting a quotation. We do not claim TKDN certification for our imported flooring.
How do SPC and LVT cope with humidity and termites?
The cores are PVC with mineral filler, with no wood fibre. We do not claim a termite-resistance rating or a water-absorption result for the offered SKU without matching test evidence. On humid sites, check slab moisture, expansion gaps and direct sun through glass; the installation instruction for the SKU sets the limits.
How should total thickness and attached underlay be compared?
Ask whether a quoted thickness includes the underlay. Our SPC click totals of 5–8 mm include a 1.0 mm IXPE underlay, so a 5 mm SPC plank has a 4 mm board. Click LVT and loose lay have no attached underlay. Compare the board, the wear layer in mm and the underlay as three separate lines when you line up offers.

For importers and specifiers: each report covers only the build that was tested. Before you order, we check whether a report matches the SKU, thickness, wear layer, surface and producing plant, and we say so if it does not. Reports and certificates are issued to the plant that makes the tested build. A matching report supports the project file; on its own it does not show that an Indonesian or Australian requirement is met. Scope details: SPC and LVT certifications.

Rigid core of PVC and mineral filler with a 1.0 mm IXPE underlay attached and counted in the total. Floats over a flat, dry slab. For apartments, offices, retail and distributor ranges.
Flexible vinyl core with a fibreglass layer and no attached underlay. Subfloor preparation and installation limits follow the selected SKU’s instructions.
Heavy flexible tiles and planks with a friction backing, held by weight and friction and lifted one by one. No click joint. The fixing method is set by area size, traffic and the slab.
Stone, marble and terrazzo décors in tile formats, lighter than ceramic or granite tile. Build, size and edge are confirmed per SKU.
Indonesian trade terms and our product names
Lantai SPC is our SPC click. Vinyl plank or lantai vinyl klik usually means click LVT, but some sellers use it for SPC too, so we confirm the core before quoting. Vinyl lem is glue-down vinyl, our Dryback LVT. Motif kayu is a wood décor; motif marmer, batu or teraso are stone looks.
For a quotation, the total thickness, the wear layer in mm and the core type matter more than the name.

Your brand, carton and label from 2,200 m² per custom design or colour. If your cartons need Bahasa Indonesia text or importer details, send the wording; we confirm what we can print before production.

Production
SPC from our main factory in Jiaxing. Usual production 35–40 days; the quotation gives the plan and loading date, including any surveyor inspection. The photo shows production, not a test result.

Also supplying Australia from Indonesian stock?
Origin stays Chinese when flooring is only stored and re-shipped, so IA-CEPA preference, which needs Indonesian origin, does not normally apply. ChAFTA preference through a third country needs the goods to stay under customs control there, with only handling such as unloading, repacking, labelling for Australia or storage, for no more than 12 months. Stock cleared into the Indonesian market does not meet that condition. Your Australian broker decides the origin claim. Product requirements for Australia are on our Australia page.
