5mm Click LVT — Flexible-Core Luxury Vinyl Plank

5mm click LVT is a luxury vinyl plank built on a flexible vinyl core — not a rigid SPC stone core — with a click-lock system for glueless floating installation. The flexible core gives a warmer, quieter, softer feel underfoot than rigid SPC, while the 5mm build with attached backing suits residential and light-commercial floors that want comfort and easy DIY-style installation.

What is 5mm flexible-core click LVT · And how it differs from SPC
Flexible core vs rigid SPC

A Flexible Core, Not a Rigid Stone Core

This is where buyers most often get confused — so here is the clear distinction. Both flexible-core LVT and SPC use the same click-lock installation, but they are built on fundamentally different cores, and that changes how the floor feels and where it belongs.

Flexible-core click LVT (this product) is built on a flexible PVC-based core. It feels softer, warmer and quieter underfoot, and is well suited to residential and light-commercial rooms where comfort matters.

SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) is built on a rigid core of limestone powder and PVC. It is harder, more dimensionally stable under temperature swings, and built for heavier commercial traffic.

The one thing they share is the click-lock system — a glueless, tongue-and-groove floating installation. So “click” describes the installation, not the core. If you need a rigid stone core, see our 5mm SPC click flooring instead.

Buyer questions

5mm Click LVT — Common Questions

What is the difference between click LVT and SPC click flooring?
Both use the same click-lock floating installation, but the core is different. Click LVT has a flexible PVC-based core that feels softer, warmer and quieter underfoot. SPC has a rigid stone-plastic composite core (limestone + PVC) that is firmer and more dimensionally stable for heavier traffic. Choose flexible-core click LVT for comfort-led residential and light-commercial rooms; choose SPC for heavy commercial use.
Is 5mm click LVT thick enough for my project?
For most residential and light-commercial rooms, yes — 5mm is our thickest flexible-core click LVT, substantial enough for a quiet, comfortable floor with an attached backing. For a slimmer, light-use floor or lower transition heights, 4mm and 4.5mm are available. For heavy commercial traffic, a rigid SPC core is the better route.
Does 5mm click LVT need glue to install?
No. The click-lock system is a glueless floating installation — planks lock together tongue-and-groove and float over a sound, level sub-floor. This makes it fast to install and easy to lift and replace an individual plank if damaged. A flexible core does need a level sub-floor, so preparation matters.
Is flexible-core click LVT waterproof?
The sealed wear layer and tight click joints resist everyday spills, making it well suited to kitchens and living areas. Because the exact waterproof rating depends on the construction and joint system, we provide the specific waterproof classification for your chosen build on request rather than a blanket claim.
What wear layer should I choose?
Match the wear layer to traffic: 0.3mm for light residential, 0.5mm for busier residential and light-commercial rooms. Specifying the right wear layer avoids paying for over-specification while ensuring the floor lasts in its intended space.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
The MOQ is 800 m² per SKU, with mixed-container loading available. Production lead time is 15–25 days. FOB pricing (Ningbo / Shanghai, HS 3918.10) is returned within one business day, with a sample kit dispatched in 5–7 days.
