UV Coating
UV-cured topcoat resistant to micro-scratches, chemical staining, and disinfectant agents. Critical for healthcare and food-service environments requiring daily chemical cleaning. EN 16094 MSR-B2 rated.

Transparent PVC film — the sole determinant of EN 685 class and floor service life. 0.55mm achieves Class 33/42/43. 0.7mm achieves Class 43/44 — the NHS HTM 61 and airport standard. LVT Core · 100% Virgin PVC
Flexible virgin PVC composite. Dimensional stability ≤0.10% (EN ISO 23999). Virgin PVC formulation prevents plasticiser migration that causes bond failure between the core and adhesive over time — a critical quality difference from recycled PVC core products. The adhesive bond to the subfloor provides dimensional stability — no fibreglass reinforcement layer is required or present in Dryback LVT.

Balance / Back Layer
Flexible PVC backing. Prevents upward curl during adhesive cure — a critical manufacturing tolerance issue. A flat back ensures uniform bond pressure across the full plank surface. Uniform bond pressure = consistent Class 44 performance under sustained wheeled load.

No fibreglass in Dryback LVT. Unlike Loose Lay LVT — which requires a fibreglass reinforcement layer to achieve dimensional stability without adhesive — Dryback LVT relies on the permanent adhesive bond to the subfloor for stability. The virgin PVC core contains no fibreglass. This is intentional: the flexible PVC core conforms to minor subfloor irregularities during bonding, maximising contact area and adhesive bond strength.

EN ISO 23999. The virgin PVC core maintains ≤0.10% across the temperature range of commercial HVAC systems. This prevents the shear stress at the adhesive bond line that causes edge delamination in lower-quality products with higher expansion rates.
