Marine Vinyl Flooring Construction
- Stabilizing Backing Layer: This is the foundation of the LVT and keeps it stable.
- Decorative Film Layer: This layer gives the LVT its visual appeal.
- Wear Layer: This is the final layer and it’s clear and durable. It protects the decorative film from scratches, stains, and fading, keeping the floor looking good over time.
- Inter-Core Layers: These layers are in between the backing and the decorative film. They provide extra support and cushioning, and help distribute weight evenly. They can be made from foam, fiberglass, or both.
