La Classe A+ — Obligatoire en France.
Since 1 September 2013, every flooring product sold on the French market must carry a VOC emissions label classified from A+ (very low emissions) to C (high emissions). This is not a voluntary certification — it is a legal requirement under Décret n°2011-321. Ecoflors SPC and LVT products are certified Classe A+, the highest possible classification. Specifically, the Eurofins IAC Gold certificate — which Ecoflors holds — covers the French VOC regulation requirements and additionally satisfies the more demanding AgBB scheme used in Germany and Belgium.

Important for French importers: The VOC label must appear on the product packaging sold in France. Ecoflors provides the Eurofins test report and the A+ classification declaration for each product, which you use to produce the mandatory label for your market. Furthermore, the Eurofins IAC Gold certificate is accepted by HQE (Haute Qualité Environnementale) and BREEAM France as a premium VOC compliance path.

All three installation systems — SPC click, Dryback glue-down, and Loose Lay — are available for the French market with full A+ COV documentation, CE DoP, and Bfl-s1 fire certificates included per shipment. Specifically, French commercial renovation projects most commonly specify Dryback LVT for Class 33/42 performance or SPC click for renovation where subfloor access is limited.

Floating click system — installs without adhesive, immediately accessible after installation. The correct specification for French commercial renovation where site access is limited and cure time is a constraint. Available 5mm–8mm. Dimensional stability ≤0.10% under EN ISO 23999 — critical for large commercial interiors.
Full-spread adhesive — zero movement under wheeled loads. The only LVT installation method that achieves EN 685 Class 44, required for supermarkets, hospitals, and airport terminals in France. Available 2mm–3mm. Highest container yield (6,200 m²/20ft at 2mm) — lowest landed cost per m².
Self-weighted friction backing — no adhesive, no click. Planks lift and replace in under 60 seconds without tools. The standard specification for French corporate offices, data centres, and raised access floors. Fibreglass reinforcement layer available in single or dual configuration for maximum dimensional stability.

Conseil logistique : For Dryback LVT (2mm), the 20ft container holds approximately 6,200 m² and stays within French port weight limits. For SPC 7mm+ (≈11 kg/m²), the 20ft container at 2,200 m² is the recommended unit — a 40ft container risks exceeding the 28-tonne limit at Le Havre and Marseille. Consequently, Ecoflors systematically recommends 20ft containers for heavy SPC specifications shipped to French ports.
