Under Décret n°2011-321, every flooring product sold on the French market must carry a VOC emissions label classified from A+ (very low emissions) to C (high emissions). The labelling requirement applied from 1 January 2012 for newly placed products and from 1 September 2013 for products already on the market — this is a legal requirement, not a voluntary certification. The label is a manufacturer self-declaration: Ecoflors substantiates its A+ classification with Eurofins ISO 16000 emission test reports. Ecoflors SPC and LVT products are classified Classe A+, the highest possible classification. The Eurofins IAC Gold programme — which Ecoflors holds — covers the French VOC requirements and additionally satisfies the more demanding AgBB scheme used in Germany and Belgium. RE2020 (Réglementation Environnementale 2020) is the French building performance regulation that replaced RT2012, applying to new residential and tertiary construction. It introduced a whole-life carbon assessment (analyse du cycle de vie) for buildings, alongside energy and summer-comfort requirements. RE2020 does not set a separate certification for flooring — but project teams now request, for every finishing product, environmental and health declarations to feed the building’s carbon and indoor-air calculations.

Environmental data for ACV / carbon calculation
RE2020 requires a life-cycle carbon assessment of the building. Where a product-specific FDES (registered on the INIES database) is not available, French calculations fall back on conservative default environmental data (“données par défaut”). Ecoflors supplies product environmental and composition data to support your FDES or default-data declaration — confirm the exact documents needed with your bureau d’études.

CE DoP & REACH declaration
The CE Declaration of Performance (EN 14041) and REACH compliance declaration are available for the ordered construction and can be reissued in your company name for French public tenders.
Note for importers: RE2020 is a building-level regulation, not a flooring certification. Ecoflors provides the underlying product data; the FDES registration and ACV calculation are produced by the project’s bureau d’études. Tell us your project type (logement neuf / tertiaire) and we will supply the relevant document set.

Floating click system — installs without adhesive, immediately accessible after installation. A common specification for French commercial renovation where site access is limited and cure time is a constraint. Available 5mm–8mm. Dimensional stability ≤0.12% under ISO 23999:2021 — relevant for large commercial interiors.
Full-spread adhesive — minimal movement under wheeled loads. The LVT installation method that achieves the highest ISO 10582 commercial classes, suited to supermarkets, hospitals, and transport terminals in France. Available 2mm–3mm. Container yield depends on the final construction and packing configuration and is confirmed at order stage — thinner Dryback constructions typically load more m² per container than thicker SPC constructions, favouring landed cost per m².
Self-weighted friction backing — no adhesive, no click. Planks lift and replace in under 60 seconds without tools. A standard specification for French corporate offices, data centres, and raised access floors. Fibreglass reinforcement layer available in single or dual configuration for maximum dimensional stability.
