Both are voluntary programs often named in LEED, school, healthcare and retail specifications. VOC documentation is checked by build before quotation. FloorScore or other VOC documentation is checked against the current public listing and the selected build before it is used in a project file.
Which ASTM fire and smoke reports apply?
Commercial specifications may call for ASTM E648 (critical radiant flux) and ASTM E662 (smoke density), and classification under ASTM F3261 for rigid core or ASTM F1700 for LVT. Send the standards named in your specification; we confirm which reports match the build before quotation.
Does the floor meet multi-family IIC and STC targets?
Building codes commonly set IIC and STC targets between dwelling units. The rating belongs to the full floor-ceiling assembly, including slab or joists, ceiling and underlayment, not to the flooring alone. Send the assembly and we confirm what test data exists for that combination.
Is 20 mil the same as 0.55 mm?
No. U.S. RFQs state wear layer in mil; datasheets use millimetres. 0.5 mm is about 20 mil, 0.55 mm about 22 mil and 0.7 mm about 28 mil, so state the exact figure your program needs.
Do our cartons need a Proposition 65 warning?
That depends on exposure to listed chemicals, and the importer or seller decides. We provide material and composition information for your review and print the warning text on the carton if your review requires one.
Which HTS line and Section 301 duty apply?
Vinyl flooring usually starts at heading 3918.10. Your licensed customs broker confirms the 10-digit line, Section 301 status and CBP fees for the entry date. We supply the product description, country of origin, packing data and FOB value.

In U.S. submittals, product documents, the floor-ceiling assembly and project or code requirements often run together. IIC and STC are rated on the assembly, and green-building credits are decided by the project team; we supply the product data they need.

Six builds
for U.S. distributors.
In U.S. RFQs, SPC click is usually called rigid core or rigid vinyl plank, and glue-down LVT is often called dryback. Three click builds float on attached IXPE; three dryback builds are glued to the substrate. Each has its own datasheet.

Laying patterns
Herringbone is supplied in both constructions, each with its own datasheet. Chevron and EIR are options that we confirm per build in the quotation.
SPC 110 × 610 mm (4.33 × 24.02 in) and LVT 153 × 765 mm (6.02 × 30.12 in). Datasheets are with the builds above.
Herringbone formats
Ends cut at an angle so the boards meet in a continuous point. No fixed U.S. format yet: state the size you need in your request.
Chevron formats
Embossed in register: the texture follows the grain printed in the décor. Confirmed per build in the quotation.

Container values are a reference calculation from the datasheets with a 25,000 kg cargo gross-weight limit; not a shipping commitment. U.S. inland trucking limits are often lower, so your forwarder confirms the permitted load before booking. Load plan after the SKU mix is confirmed.

Carton print, labels and inserts are designed around your brand. For the U.S. the artwork usually has to carry more than a logo: country-of-origin marking, UPC or EAN barcodes from your GS1 account, the SKU and colour data your warehouse scans, and any Proposition 65 warning your team decides is needed.
We fix all of it in the artwork proof before the line starts. Custom colours and OEM designs start from 2,200 m²; our own designs from 800 m² per colour.
U.S. entry also requires country-of-origin marking and ISPM 15 marked wood packaging. Tell us how your program handles both, and we confirm them in the order.

Is FloorScore required for vinyl flooring in the U.S.?
No federal rule requires it. Many LEED, school, healthcare and retail specifications ask for FloorScore or another VOC certification. We check VOC documentation by build before quotation and check the current listing and scope before it goes into a project file.
Is GREENGUARD Gold available for SPC Click?
GREENGUARD Gold documentation is checked against the listed construction, thickness range and product type. Scope details are provided on request when they match the build you select.
Does CARB Phase 2 or TSCA Title VI apply to SPC?
These rules cover hardwood plywood, MDF and particleboard, and finished goods that contain them. An SPC or LVT build with no regulated composite-wood component is generally outside that scope, so we provide a material-scope statement rather than a certificate. Read the CARB and TSCA scope guide.
Can SPC Click meet multi-family IIC and STC targets?
Only as part of a tested floor-ceiling assembly. IIC and STC rate the whole assembly, including slab or joists, ceiling and underlayment. Send the assembly your project uses and we confirm what test data exists for that build. See how the ratings are measured.
Which ASTM reports should we request?
It depends on the specification. Commercial projects often name ASTM E648 and ASTM E662; classification may follow ASTM F3261 for rigid core or ASTM F1700 for LVT. List the standards in your request and we confirm which reports match the build.
How do we avoid certificate mismatch in a private-label order?
Fix the exact build first: core, wear layer, backing, size and finish. Then keep the same product description on the certificate scope, datasheet, carton, invoice and packing list. We check this before production.
Does sourcing through another country avoid China tariffs?
Origin depends on the actual manufacturing process, not the shipping route. We ship China-origin goods with matching export and shipment documents. Confirm origin, HTS classification and duty treatment with your customs broker. U.S. import guide.

We also supply SPC wall panels for interior walls, and you can include them in the same request as your flooring. Fire and use requirements for wall finishes differ from those for floors, so the wall panel datasheet and any reports are confirmed per project.
