Hotel & Hospitality Flooring

Hotel and hospitality flooring has to work across the whole guest journey — a marble-look lobby that survives luggage carts, quiet guest-room floors, hard-wearing corridors and easy-clean dining areas. Our commercial LVT and SPC range covers every front-of-house zone, with the heavy wear layers, acoustic backing and slip resistance that contract hospitality projects specify.

Every Hotel Zone Has a Different Floor

A good hospitality specification matches each product to the demands of the space — the marble drama a lobby needs, the acoustic calm of a guest room, the sheer durability of a corridor. Here is how our range maps to each zone, with the right product for each.

🛎️
Lobby & Reception
The first impression — a marble or stone look that survives constant luggage carts and rolling loads. Glue-down (dryback) is the specification of choice for a solid, premium feel under wheeled traffic.
🛏️
Guest Rooms & Suites
Warm wood visuals with acoustic comfort — footfall noise between floors and adjacent rooms is the key concern. Herringbone and chevron add a design signature for boutique and upscale rooms.
🚶
Corridors & Circulation
The hardest-working floor in the building — heavy wear layer, acoustic backing and slip resistance for endless footfall, luggage drag and housekeeping carts, without disturbing guests in adjacent rooms.
🍽️
Restaurants, Bars & Lounges
Slip-resistant, stain-resistant and easy to clean for food and beverage spills, with wood or stone visuals that set the tone. R10 rating for front-of-house safety.
💆
Spa, Wellness & Quiet Zones
Waterproof and acoustic for wellness areas and premium suites where guest comfort and sound control come first. A calm, warm underfoot feel.
🎉
Event & Function Spaces
Durable and design-led for ballrooms, function rooms and multi-use spaces — statement terrazzo and stone visuals that take crowds and stacked furniture.

Why Hospitality Specifiers Choose LVT & SPC

LVT is the fastest-growing flooring category in hospitality — because it answers the commercial realities of running a property: relentless traffic, moisture, tight refurbishment windows and a lifecycle cost that has to make sense across hundreds of rooms.

🧳
Survives Luggage Carts
A commercial wear layer (0.55mm / 0.7mm) and residual indentation ≤0.05mm resist housekeeping-cart damage, luggage drag and high-heel traffic — the daily punishment of a working hotel.
💧
Waterproof Where It Matters
A waterproof rigid core handles guest-room wet areas, spills near ice machines, vending and laundry, and the water tracked into lobbies on wet days — no swelling or warping.
🔇
Acoustic Comfort
Guest rest is the product. With optional IXPE acoustic backing, LVT reduces footfall noise between floors and adjacent rooms — impact-sound improvement reported per the tested floor build.
🧼
Hygienic & Easy Clean
A hard, non-porous surface is fast to disinfect and does not retain allergens, odours or bacteria — cutting housekeeping time and chemical cost across a property.
⏱️
Fast Refurbishment
Dry-trade install with overnight phasing keeps rooms and corridors turning over — and damaged planks replace individually without re-flooring a whole space.
🎨
Design That Fits the Brand
Realistic wood, stone and terrazzo visuals in a wide palette complement casegoods and brand schemes — with OEM custom matching for chain and boutique brand standards.

Where to Specify Something Else

Our LVT and SPC are the right choice for front-of-house and guest-facing zones. But a good specification is honest about its limits — some back-of-house areas need a different product, and we will tell you where.

🍳
Commercial Kitchens
Hotel kitchens need a floor that is non-slip when wet and greasy, heat- and chemical-resistant. Specify commercial safety vinyl or quarry tile here — not LVT.
🏊
Pool Surrounds & Wet Rooms
Constant standing water and barefoot slip safety call for a specialist wet-area safety floor with a watertight cove, not a floating or glue-down LVT.
🧺
Laundry & Plant Rooms
Heavy equipment, chemicals and drainage in back-of-house service areas are better served by a sealed industrial or safety floor.

Specifier & procurement questions

Hospitality Flooring — Common Questions

What wear layer should I specify for a hotel?
Match the wear layer to the traffic. For guest rooms, a 0.3–0.5mm wear layer is typically sufficient; for lobbies, corridors and high-traffic public areas, specify 0.55mm or 0.7mm to resist luggage carts, housekeeping trolleys and constant footfall. Under-spec residential wear layers fail quickly under contract hospitality use — every product we supply is commercial-rated.
Click-lock or glue-down for hotel lobbies and corridors?
For lobbies and corridors with rolling luggage carts, glue-down (dryback) is the specification of choice — it handles rolling loads better and gives a more solid, premium feel underfoot. Our 3mm dryback with 0.55mm wear layer is built for exactly this. Click-lock rigid core suits guest rooms and lighter areas.
How do you handle acoustics between floors and rooms?
Footfall noise between floors and adjacent rooms is the main acoustic concern in hotels. Our LVT is available with an optional IXPE acoustic backing that reduces impact sound. Because the rating depends on the full floor build, impact-sound improvement is reported per the tested assembly — tell us your build-up and we confirm the figure.
Can you match our hotel brand’s flooring scheme?
Yes. As a manufacturer we offer OEM custom matching to a hotel group’s published brand scheme or design intent from a reference sample — custom colourways, formats and finishes, with CE DoP and FloorScore documentation issued in your name for contract compliance.
What flooring should NOT use LVT in a hotel?
We are transparent about this: commercial kitchens, pool surrounds and wet rooms, and laundry / plant rooms need a specialist safety or wet-area floor (safety vinyl, quarry tile or a sealed industrial floor) — not LVT. Our range is the right choice for all front-of-house and guest-facing zones; we will tell you where to specify something else.
What is the MOQ and lead time for a hotel project?
The MOQ is 800 m² per SKU, with mixed-container loading to combine zone products in one shipment. Production lead time is 15–25 days. FOB pricing (Ningbo / Shanghai, HS 3918.10) is returned within one business day, with a sample kit dispatched in 5–7 days.
