Which quality rules apply to vinyl flooring under the 2026 risk lists?
Circular 41/2026/TT-BXD lists high-risk and medium-risk building materials in Annexes II and III; we found no HS 3918 entry in either. Products outside those annexes are low risk. Low-risk products must meet the declared applicable standard and the relevant quality, labelling and traceability requirements. A declaration of conformity to the standard is voluntary. Your broker confirms the code and any other rules that apply.
What do duty and VAT add at the port?
Duty follows the 8-digit code in Vietnam’s import tariff. China and Vietnam are both in ACFTA and RCEP; a preferential rate needs a valid certificate of origin, Form E for ACFTA. Import VAT is 10 %, or 8 % where the current reduction (1 July 2025 to 31 December 2026) covers the code. VAT is charged on the customs value plus duty, not on the FOB invoice alone. Your broker confirms the code, rate and calculation.
Who sets the carton label and the Vietnamese supplementary label?
Your importer confirms the original label and Vietnamese supplementary-label requirements under Decree 37/2026/NĐ-CP before shipment and sale. Send the approved wording before carton artwork is finalised. We confirm what can be printed; the importer remains responsible for the local label requirements.
Which fire data do projects ask for?
QCVN 06:2022/BXD classifies finishes by combustibility, flame spread on floor surfaces, smoke and toxicity, and limits finishes in rooms and on escape routes. The designer and the fire-safety appraisal decide what a project needs. Our Bfl-s1 result (EN 13501-1) covers one tested SPC build; whether a foreign classification is accepted for your project is decided in that appraisal, not by us.
How do SPC and LVT cope with nồm and year-round humidity?
The cores are PVC with mineral filler and contain no wood fibre. Our SPC datasheet gives dimensional stability of ≤ 0.12 % (ISO 23999, heat exposure). We do not claim a water-absorption result for the offered SKU without matching test evidence. On site, check slab moisture, expansion gaps and direct sun through glass; the installation instruction for the SKU sets the limits.
Adding vinyl to a laminate range: what changes?
Wood-based panels such as the HDF core of laminate are in the medium-risk annex of Circular 41/2026, so they need a conformity declaration. We found no vinyl floor covering entry in those annexes. For the range itself, compare total thickness, wear layer in mm and attached underlay as separate lines: our SPC totals of 5–8 mm include a 1.0 mm IXPE underlay, while click LVT has none.

Before you order, we check whether a report matches the SKU, thickness, wear layer, surface and producing plant, and we say so if it does not. Reports and certificates are issued to the plant that makes the tested build. A matching report supports your declared standard or project file; on its own it does not show that a Vietnamese requirement is met. Scope details: SPC and LVT certifications.

SPC click
Rigid core of PVC and mineral filler with a 1.0 mm IXPE underlay attached and counted in the total. Floats over a flat, dry slab. For apartments, offices, shophouses, retail and distributor ranges.
Click LVT (vinyl plank)
Flexible vinyl core with a fibreglass layer and no attached underlay. Subfloor preparation and installation limits follow the selected SKU’s instructions.
Stone-look vinyl tiles
Stone, marble and terrazzo visuals in vinyl tile formats. Confirm whether the selected SKU uses an SPC or flexible LVT construction. For lobbies, shops, showrooms and offices.
Vietnamese trade terms and our product names
Sàn nhựa SPC or sàn nhựa lõi đá is our SPC click. Sàn nhựa hèm khóa means click vinyl in general and can be SPC or flexible LVT, so we confirm the core before quoting. Sàn nhựa dán keo is glue-down vinyl, our Dryback LVT. Giả gỗ is a wood décor and vân đá a stone look. Sàn gỗ công nghiệp is laminate, which we do not make.
For a quotation, the total thickness, the wear layer in mm and the core type matter more than the name.

SPC wall panels
For interior walls (tấm ốp tường), subject to the panel, the substrate and the fixing method. The “tấm tường” group in Circular 41/2026 covers concrete wall panels, not plastic panels. Ask for floor and wall in one enquiry; ABA flooring, often sold as hybrid, can be quoted too: ABA flooring.

Private label
Your brand, carton and label from 2,200 m² per custom design or colour. If you want Vietnamese text or importer details printed on the carton, send the wording; we confirm what we can print before production. The Vietnamese supplementary label stays the importer’s responsibility.
OEM and private label
Production
SPC from our main factory in Jiaxing. Usual production 35–40 days; the quotation gives the plan and loading date. The photo shows production, not a test result.
