EIR & Classical Wood
Vinyl Flooring Textures
Factory Direct Decors
Think of it this way: texture is the menu, structure is the cooking method. We separate the two decisions deliberately — so your procurement team can specify a single colour across a hotel’s guest rooms (SPC), corridors (Dryback), and public areas (Click LVT) without the colour mismatch that occurs when those structures come from different suppliers.
EIR begins with high-resolution optical scanning of the décor film’s printed grain. The embossing die is then aligned to the scan data and registered to the print within ±0.1mm across the full plank length. Consequently, every feature you see in the print — knots, growth rings, medullary rays — has a corresponding tactile feature at the same position on the surface. When you close your eyes and run your hand across an EIR plank, you feel the same structure the eye sees when it is open.
In boutique hotel guest rooms, the floor is inspected at close range by guests who crouch to examine luggage, by cleaners with floor-level sightlines, and by procurement managers during project walkthrough. At these distances, a tactile-visual misalignment is immediately visible. Furthermore, EIR surfaces break up specular light reflection differently from standard embossing — the non-uniform depth of the registered texture creates a varied light-scatter that flat or uniformly embossed surfaces cannot replicate.
Classical Wood uses a high-quality standard embossing plate that produces consistent texture across large production volumes without requiring print-to-die registration. The embossing pattern is selected to complement a wide range of wood-grain colour families — consequently, it works across our entire 500+ colour library without creating visible misalignment at any colour. This is the specification for projects where procurement volume is large, lead time is critical, and the specifier requires broad colour availability rather than grain-exact precision.
For large residential developments, social housing programmes, and commercial projects where 10,000 m² or more of a single colour is required, Classical Wood delivers consistent results at significantly lower per-m² cost than EIR. Furthermore, because the embossing is not colour-registered, re-orders from subsequent production batches show no texture discontinuity — a critical advantage for phased construction projects that take deliveries over 12–18 months.
Cool-toned Scandinavian oak with visible medullary rays. EIR registration aligns the ray pattern tactilely — specifically, the fine horizontal lines across the grain are both visible and feelable. Specified for hotel rooms and Nordic-market residential projects.
Warm greige tone with deep growth ring definition. The ring contrast is both printed and embossed at ±0.1mm — consequently, the depth perception at 40cm viewing distance matches real wood. The EU’s most specified EIR tone for hotel guest rooms and serviced apartments.
Classic European brown oak with broad growth rings and visible knot detail. The knot areas are the most critical registration point in EIR — at ±0.1mm precision, the knot’s printed dark halo aligns exactly with the embossed depression, creating a three-dimensional knot appearance indistinguishable from sawn timber at close inspection.
High-contrast smoked walnut with deep grain and figure. In dark tones, the embossing depth perception is most dependent on EIR precision — a misregistered dark decor shows the error as a grey haze where the embossed shadow falls on the wrong area of the print. Furthermore, this tone is specified for boutique retail environments seeking maximum design impact.

One Colour. Four Structures. One Project.
This is the procurement advantage that multi-structure projects require. A hotel with SPC guest rooms, Dryback corridors, and Click LVT in meeting rooms can specify a single colour from either the EIR or Classical Wood library — and we produce all three structures from the same décor film batch. Consequently, the colour appears identical under the same lighting conditions in all three areas. We call this Universal Colour Matching, and it is the primary reason large-scale project developers consolidate their LVP procurement with a single factory.

Your specifier requires a floor that reads as natural timber at close inspection — guests will crouch to examine luggage and cleaners will mop at surface level. The floor needs to pass the 40cm visual test, not just the standing-height walkthrough.
Your procurement target is lowest installed cost per m² across 5,000 m² or more of identical colour. The floor needs to look consistent and perform reliably for 10+ years, but the 40cm visual test is not a specification requirement.
Your project timeline requires overnight installation with no cure time. You need the colour to match across the full floor area, including zones that will be installed in separate phases 3–6 months apart.
Select Your Texture.
Then Your Structure.
We Handle Both.
Tell us your colour preference (EIR or Classical Wood), the structures you need across your project zones, and we prepare a Universal Colour Match sample set — all structures in the same colour, dispatched within 5 business days.
